The Department of Coaching Education, which started its activities in 2009 within the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University School of Physical Education and Sports, continues its education and training activities within the Faculty of Sports Sciences as a result of the transformation of the School of Physical Education and Sports into the Faculty of Sports Sciences on February 16, 2018.

In 2019-2020, within the scope of the Department of Coaching Education, the "Movement and Training Sciences" master's program will also be implemented, bringing scientific experts to the field of Sports Sciences. In the Department of Coaching Education, the occupancy rate is 100% with a total of 250 students in four classes.

In our Coaching Education Department, a total of 8 academic staff, including 2 Prof. Dr., 4 Assoc. Dr., 3 Dr. Lecturers, and Assoc. Dr. and Dr. Lecturers related to their fields of expertise in other departments affiliated to the faculty, continue with the support of academic staff in different branches.

In the 2019-2020 academic year, the Department of Coaching Education continues its education and training activities at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Terzioglu Campus by taking 50 students.
